Hi! I'm Alison. I'm told I have a bright, instinctive, friendly and versatile British voice, and I record from my  professional home studio in Bristol, UK.

I'm an award-winning narrator of over 200 audiobooks on Audible; voice the Lego Duplo podcast for Sony Podcasts and have commercial clients including Oral B, Channel 4 and the Guardian. I've also had a lot of fun voicing video games; dramas and numerous explainers.

I'm a Bristol Old Vic trained actor with a flair for accents and a knack for creating believable characters - and I absolutely adore bringing stories to life. For audiobooks I cover a multitude of genres and work with audiobook studios in the UK and USA. I have worked with many million copy selling and USA Bestselling authors and led multiple series.

 Back in 2022 I was also a BBC Norman Beaton Finalist.

I record  from a custom built soundproofed and treated vocal booth (AKA Trudie the Talkie Box) using a Rode NT1a / Focusrite Scarlett Solo / MacBook / Reaper. I can connect via Cleanfeed and Zoom, or am happy to travel to a studio of your choice.
